I'm not sure if it helps you getting out of the sandbox though. In this case it could be that your key phrase were so specific that they still ranked even though you were in the sandbox. I think this helped one of my sites get to #1 for it's search term in about 4months: "dual pricing ireland" => dualpricing.ie Though, granted, this isn't possible for all sites I’m not an expert but I guess that putting some of your keywords into your domain name would also help?
